I’m getting ready to head out on my annual motorcycle trip. This year we will be hitting the beautiful Oregon coast.
Made it to Boise – 353 Miles
From Boise, ID to Walla Walla, WA. We went through McCall , ID. Beautiful scenery. We stopped at a Harley Dealership in Lewiston, ID, and Sarah and Adam just about got kicked out because of their Honda shirts. Harley attitudes.
From Walla Walla , WA to Pacific City, OR. We stopped at the Tillamook cheese factory for their famous ice cream, and ended the day at our beach front Airbnb beach house and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
Pacific City, OR to Crescent City, CA. Beautiful Oregon coastline.
Crescent City, CA to Yuba City, CA. Giant Redwoods through Willow Creek (Home of Bigfoot).
From Yuba City, CA to Eureka, NV. We traveled around Lake Tahoe, then Carson City and on to Eureka. On the way my front tire started thumping. Stopping and inspecting the tire it looked fine. It appeared that the radial belts on the interior of the tire had separated. We called the nearest Harley Dealership in Reno for a new tire. They had the tire, but said they don’t serve my kind there. Because I’m riding a Honda Goldwing. Those Harley guys have attitudes. So we decided to rent a trailer and trailer it home and fix it in Salt Lake.
Eureka, NV to Salt Lake. Made it home. Today was uneventful, except I rode in an air conditioned car with my sweetheart and bike in tow. I’m tired now, and need a vacation from my vacation. We had a great time. Beautiful scenery and great family and friends.
